Verge Works was hired by Rxpress to setup and
install Voice Over IP (VOIP) technology for their headquarters in La Ceiba, Honduras. Using
Cisco IP phones and a PSTN (public switched telephone network) gateway, Rxpress customers in
the US can dial a US based 800# and are seamlessly connected to the Rxpress call center in
Honduras. This installation yields a 90% cost savings compared with traditional long
distances options available to Rxpress. The quality of the Rxpress VOIP calls are comparable
if not higher quality standard US phone calls.
In addition to the VOIP system, Verge Works' staff also setup and implemented a complete
hardware and software solution for Rxpress' mail order pharmacy business.
